So, I am at my wits end 😭😨😩😲. Once BC became a part of my life and at one time my whole life, I feel like my choices have been limited. Now, after going through chemo, surgery and rads, in that order, I thought ok....I can get through this and things will get better. And true, things have gotten, if not as they were before all of these treatments. However, I am still extremely unhappy about my physical relationship with my husband. It is almost non existent πŸ˜” 😠 πŸ€” yes I am sad, mad and totally confused by what we are suppose to do about this problem.

So, I am reaching out to all you ER+ ladies wondering is it better for you? Is there something I am missing? And if you have found something, anything that works please please share. I think I am going to lose my mind and eventually my marriage if our physical relationship continues down this road. My husband has been there for me from the get go. At every appointment and very patient. We are tired of a lack of real intimacy. We have tried but there is nothing quite like sex with your partner. However, we have young children and would not risk reoccurrence but need some hope of improvement in this area of our lives.

Thank you for listening to me.

There's several options. Don't give up hope yet!

Search for scream cream on these boards. Print out the formula for a dr to write a rx to be taken to a compounding pharmacy. It's not covered by ins.

Ask your GYN for a referral to a PT for vaginal therapy. Will help you loosen those muscles and relax. After what we've been through, there's no modesty left and sex is very important.

Ask your GYN about a vaginal estrogen ring. Discuss the pros and cons. Some aren't comfortable with any estrogen, others think it's quality of life and the estrogen stays put.

Look up Mona Lisa touch. Both in these boards and Internet. See if there is someone near you that does it. It rejuvenates your tissues without hormones. It's typically not covered by ins.

I've tried all of the above. All offer improvement. Good luck!
