recurrence after 11 yrs?

i have noticed a rash along my reconstructed cancerous breast tissue. i had a bi lateral 11 yrs ago. the rash is redish and does seem to come and go however,,i am now having an itch under my arm pit along the lymph node scar that looks like i have bug bites...i also am experiencing arm pain that i thought was a over stretched muscle but now i am concerned that the itch , the rash and the arm issues are related to more...anyone with advice? i do have a doctors appt this week!

    Hmmm, sounds like an infection. Glad you're seeing the doc. Let us know what they tell you.

    Possibly shingles? My experience was that they appeared then itched, then oozed and weren't as painful as expected but was diagnosed early.....hoping it is something as simple as that??

    i was also thinking possible shingles....i did have an extremely mild case of shingles about 8 yrs ago...my doctor at the time said it was the mildest case she had ever seen. i am just not convinced this is shingles...the main rash appears at teh bottom of my arm pit exactly where the lymph node incision was and spreads to lower into the right side...it is so small pink dots and not covering a large area. i am actually thinking this is not a recurrance but something along the lines of the implant from reconstruction is slipping out of its sutures....i am VERY active and my recon was done in 2009.
