recurrence or new cancer while on tamoxifen

Anyone has recurrence or new cancer while on tamoxifen? I was diagnosed in 2012 and am on tamoxifen. Since last year, every time I go for scan, they would say they see something and want to biopsy the site. I've done ultrasound guided and mri guided biopsy (6 months apart), both times the result came back benign. Now they are saying they want to do stereotactic biopsy. Feels to me that they are really digging for something. Wonder if I can wait 6 months for the next scan and not do the biopsy now. Suggestions?

    yes. I recurred after 14 months on Tamoxifen. I had a benign biopsy 5 months before I found my recurrent cancerous lump. I actually recurrrd in 2 spots. If they think you need a biopsy, I would do it. Tamoxifen does not work for everyone. Hoping it is benign

    I know hard difficult waiting is; however, the best suggestion: forget about it do something else. it's really easy to get "sucked in," so to speak. now that you have to wait, you'll go crazy if you wonder and worry all the time. If you find you're getting to wrapped up, occupy your time.
