Anyone had this problem of a leaky TE? I woke up about 1.5weeks ago and my left looked smaller than my right, but it always was - so i just thought I was seeing things. Next day - it was pretty apparent. I called my PS on Friday and they called me back Wed to tell me to come in immediately because PS is going out of town and needs to see before he goes. I went in and he said --> it HAS to be exchanged and he will not fill me again. He is concerned about pocket staying open for my implant. I was at my final fill previously and waiting until after I traveled internationally Sept 1st and then also waiting to see if hysterectomy is imperative (Aug 23rd go in for test). I would schedule exchange based on the urgency of the hysterectomy.

He says this is a simple procedure and he will do it in his office......??? Anyone else had something like this done in a PS office? Not a surgery center, but literally his office. He does do procedures there, but I don't know....kind of freaked out. Also, I will have this done on the 24th and then will be flying on a 10hr flight on the 1st. He said, "you'll be fine. It'll take me ~20-30min to replace this and I will go in through your smaller incision." ( I had double MX June 1st) Anyone experienced anything like this? Or have any advice? Thank you - Peace

I'm sorry you are having so much trouble. Here is a link to another thread where something similar occurred.

    Hi Peace

I'm TrmTab of the thread you were sent to.  You can see my journey to a Sept 8th in hospital exchange, but I did receive an e-mail from the PS nurse when I was in the midst of this turmoil...she didn't realize I had that hour switched from the office to the hospital but she was very reassuring...she said the in office surgical suite was better than the hospital since all their patients are healthy and stable so the risks of cross infection from something bad are very low and you won't be in a sick environment.

If I hadn't already had the hospital time, she was making a convincing argument to go inoffice.

Sorry I didn't see this faster.

    Take care, TT
