Question about hair loss.

So I was diagnosed with triple negative bc on 7/14 and started DD AC on 7/31. My MO told me that the one SE that for sure would happen is hair loss. Today is day 12 after AC and my hair has been shedding a lot. How long does it shed until it comes out in clumps? I am trying to decide when to cut my hair.

    Once I had my second infusion I lost most of my hair on the 4-6 days now I have shaved it off so I don't have to deal with it and depressed me more.

    The first time I had chemo it started shedding badly about day 10. It was everywhere, in the bed, on the floor, clogging the shower drain. When I noticed it in the food when cooking, I cut it off and then clippered it. That was day 12. It was a lot easier to deal with.

    My shedding became severe on day 2 of my second DD AC infusion. I shavedit off on day 3. Sammi, everyone is different. Sounds like you are just a day or two away from the clumps. Hang in there. It's just hair. It will grow back (although it will feel like forever before it does.)
