Today is the day. On our way to the hospital. So very thankful I am calm and not hysterical like I thought I might be. Now to wake up and just eat!!

Ended up staying an extra day. Hoping I get sent home here in a bit. It has gone better than I expected. Surprisingly I have not been too emotional, I am sure I will be eventually. But happy I haven't lost it in the hospital. lol All is well.

Glad you're doing well. I only stayed overnight but I asked them to let me hang there as late as possible so I could just make sure I felt ready to go .my nurse actually walked me out of the hospital. No wheelchair lol.

all is well. Got an 8+ hour drive to get home today. But I am so excited to be home after 2 weeks. Feel like I have past the first test. Lol
Also found out I am not triple positive. Somehow I got my HER2 results mixed up.
Now to rest!

8 hour drive, you certainly need to rest up when you get home. Glad the Her2 was finally cleared up for you. Rest well and keep hydrated.

i was tired when I left the hospital. I got home and I wake up And feel great. By the time I get meds, clear out the tubes and get a drink of water I am ready for bed again. I hope that is normal.

get all the rest you can, when you can. Between the stress of being diagnosed and surgery, the body has to heal when it can. So go sleep
