When I started chemo, my hemoglobin was at 13.3. I have just received my 4th round of TCHP and my hemoglobin has steadily dropped to 8.6. Was wondering if anyone has had a blood transfusion during chemo and if it helped their extreme fatigue? Also, what was it like during the transfusion?

I had five transfusions. The first one grossed me out. I did feel much better after them though. It is very time consuming as it goes in very slow. The rate I am feeling I might need another one.
