    My son finished college and wanted to look for a new job but said he was going to wait until I was through radiation in case I needed help. He also advised his boss that he might need to be late or leave for a while in case I needed a driver. All of that was offered without me asking. Now he has changed jobs and has a wonderful one

    That is soo sweet and considerate. My boys are too small for that but my heart would melt if they'd done that as adults.

    Hi New direction,

    Thank you for creating this thread it has made my day and made me smile!

    My MO said I want you to do well and make sure you are alright.

    My Breast Surgeon didn't have to say anything to make me feel better about my upcoming mastectomy surgery she gave me a hug at the end of my first visit with her, and that hug alone told me that everything would be okay and that she cares about me. I no longer worried about how the surgery would go.

    My mom left me many bowls of fruits and veggies on my bed after my surgery, and I thought wow mom really loves me or she wants to clean out the refrigerator. LOL I think I will go with the Love part.

    Hello ladies,love this thread! Certainly better than watching the news!!!!

    I was dx stage IV de novo with bone metastasis diffuse all over me. Not a single bone looked normal,under PET. As my dh and I sat with mo for the first time, he said that "with his skill and my will,I could survive many years". That was a little over two years ago and I am a newly NED!!!

    Love to everyone out there that is trying to control this beast!!!❤️
