Butterfly, thank you so much for the kind thoughts. I think of you as an inspiration as well. We've got each other's backs that's for sure.

My PCP increased my Wellbutrin for my depression and it's seems to have kicked in already. I'm praying this takes care of my bluesies for some time to come. He says if not we'll try a different med. It took a year to find the right antidepressants and I don't want to go through that again! My DS and his family should arrive late today or early tomorrow. I'm so excited!

Lori / you're family will lift your spirits. Any time you need to vent I'm here. Hoping the new meds will help. I highly recommend The Power of Now by Eckart Tolle. Whenever I'm overwhelmed I read this book again and again. My copy is highlighted and dog eared.Love to all.

Lori - glad you get to spend some time with your son and his family. I hope that helps a bit with your blues. Sending a hug.

Butterfly - so nice to have a surprise visit from a friend. Sounds like fun! Good job keeping up with yoga and getting to the gym. I think being active really helps with mood, overall aches and pains too from the various SEs.

Here are a couple thoughts for today.

"The best things in life are nearest; breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties of your hand, the path of right just before you". - Robert Louis Stevenson

"what you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others." - Pericles

Remember when the blues hit and life seems overwhelming, just to bring your mind back to this moment and appreciate the simple things in life. I heard of something new - walking meditation. I haven't tried it yet, but when I went hiking this week with a friend, she mentioned it to me. I might have to give it a try sometime.

Thank you all for your inspiration! My meds seem to be working, I'm back to my "new normal" and living life again.

We had a wonderful time with my DS and his family. I couldn't remember laughing so hard in my life! My ribs are still sore from my TEs rubbing on them with all the laughter! I'll post some pictures later this evening.

Gentle healing hugs to everyone 🤗🤗💜💜

    Hi Lori,

Glad you are feeling better physically and mentally. Family does help. My grandbabies make me smile and always lift my spirits.

I'm getting some joint issue in my fingers and toes but it's manageable. My DH says I'm moody so I'll have to do some introspection. I made the mistake of telling him this may be one of the SEs of arimidex and now he's blaming it on this. I should have kept my mouth shut....LOL.

I hope everyone is doing well. Sending love and gentle hugs.Medicating

Hello to everyone. I've been in my basement sorting through 32 years of marriage lol

I've been feeling much better the past few weeks and getting a lot of things done.

Here are a few of Gods beautiful creations I've come across cleaning up our yard.

    Luna Moth

I'm not sure what these 2 are, I'll look them up in my Audubon book of butterflies and moths.

Lori - love the pictures of the moths and butterflies from your garden.  I believe one a Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly.  Good for you that you're getting things cleaned out in your basement.  I need to do spring cleaning everywhere in my house (closets, drawers, storage area.....).

Butterfly - my friend just told me about walking meditation, but I haven't tried it yet.  She mentioned if it was done outside it's probably best to have someone lead your though it.  You'd have to be careful so you don't fall on your face - lol.

I spent a couple days last weekend in St Louis with two of my old friends.  We really enjoyed catching up and did a couple fun activities.  We went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens (gorgeous and I highly recommend it) and went to pick peaches and blackberries at Eckert's farm.  Here are some picture from the gardens.

Finally, here are some thought for the day.

"Be not afraid of growing slowly.  Be afraid only of standing still." - Chinese proverb

"The intense effort, the giving of everything you've got, is a very pleasant side effect." - Sir Edmund Hillary

"Forever is composed of nows".  - Emily Dickinson
