I am 56 years old. I was near 55 years old at the time of my ILC diagnosis.

Hi MaryLisa

I think I may be similar to you. I'm 59 and was diagnosed with ILC in July. I'm waiting for surgery - delayed because my MRI showed another mass in the other breast. Just had a biopsy and and those results may change the surgery plans. I've been told I will probably have radiation afterwards not sure how they decide between radiation and chemotherapy. This is all new to me and I frankly feel quite overwhelmed and scared by the whole thing.
