Real Housewives OC has a housewife dealing with BC

I love these silly Housewives shows - a guilty pleasure. I love seeing the designer clothes/bags, travel, homes and then some nasty (funny) cat fights, every once in awhile. I had recently been thinking that it was odd that no Housewives franchise has ever had a cast mate with BC, given the cast is all women, in the age range of 40-50's

Well, last night, I was catching up on the new season of Orange County and lo and behold, they introduce a new cast member, Peggy. Peggy is a recent double MX, who lost her mom at 51 from breast cancer. She is currently undergoing expansion, and reconstruction. Well, the tears started streaming!

I have to say, I'm really looking forward to watching this season, especially the new character, Peggy. I guess that I want to see (believe) that breast cancer doesn't change and destroy everything.

    And it’s also a reminder that while cancer is expensive, money still can’t buy perfect health and peace of mind.

    Hello!

    I also love the Real Housewives of Orange County! It's one of the casts that I really like to watch - also Beverly Hills. I've been so busy in the past 3 weeks getting my own BC diagnosis that I haven't had a chance to watch the new season episodes. Well I caught a little of the first, but wasn't really paying attention just listening so I obviously didn't know about Peggy. I will go back and get caught up hopefully this weekend. Thank you for posting this, it will be very interesting to follow her storyline.
