Triple positive and still have gene mutation???

Title says it. 
Just wondering if anyone has been triple positive and still came back with a mutation gene?

Yes. I tested positive for BRCA2 and my tumor was triple positive. you are the second person who has asked that. I wasn't aware that this was a rare combination.

I figured it was rare since it took a while for someone to respond.
My doctor is leaning towards it not being genetic, the genetic counserlling is thinking it is based on family history and that I am only 36. I am VERY curious to get the results. lol
