10 year survivor of TN cancer
I don't post here much anymore or even login, but I was grateful for posts like these whenever I was in the throws of treatment. I am a 10 year survivor of Triple Negative BC. I had 8 rounds of chemo, then a double mastectomy and reconstruction. I miss my old breasts but at 51 they would probably be saggy and mine are still perky. Look for the joy! I wish you well as you wait for tests, treatments and hear those words, NID

Thank you so much, Mary, for thinking of us and posting! I've been struggling with my TN diagnosis. I really needed to hear from you this week as I start chemo therapy.
Here's to the next decade!

I was just diagnosed with TN and I have to say, thank you for this. It gives me hope that things will be okay. Even though I have fabulous breasts, at least one, if not both will most likely stay fabulous.

Several here are looking forward to surgery. Please, review this thread. It's self explanatory as to how to use the info. The first to boxes that can be printed off and discussed with your doc's

I don't think I've posted this on this particular forum -- but my mom (not on BC.org) is a ten year TN survivor. Had lump/radiation and 4 rounds chemo (I'm not sure what type, sorry). She follows no special diet, no special supplements and does drink beer/wine, however, she gets a TON of exercise, which I think is key. Very active and positive outlook.
Good luck to all!
Stinks we're here but glad we have each other.
