Shoulder/Neck/Breast Pain Biopsy scheduled

I guess I could have mentioned that. I had been having shoulder pain for almost a year. I just wrote it off as getting older and arthritic changes. Something I would grow to live with basically. The pain started creeping into my neck, collarbone and arm. Then I began having lots of, what I assumed was, fibroid pain in my left breast for a few weeks. I regretfully admit I've never been one to do regular self checks. So coming across the gumball sized lump during a shower was a shocker but I chalked it up to a cyst because of the pain and tenderness. Finally gave in and visited my GP. Gave her the rundown of what was going on. She found the lump without my direction and tried moving my arm to examine my armpit. I instinctively yelped and apologized because my shoulder won't move the way she was guiding. She became very serious at this point. Told me I had frozen shoulder and she didn't want to worry me but she didn't like the feel of the lump combined with other issues and my age. I left with several scripts. She really tried to cover everything. A script for routine mammo as I hadn't had one since 2014, a diagnostic mammo, another for US and one more for shoulder xrays. I chose to go with a radiology facility that worked with me in 2006 when I had to have subtotal hysterectomy die to a softball sized teratoma, completely B9, causing torsion on my left ovary. It took a few weeks to get in. During the mammo the tech kept referencing that I had very dense breast tissue and the images were probably going to be hard to read. Radiologist had me wait to see if she would need the diagnostic. She did. Again too much dense tissue but she had areas of concern. They escorted me to xray for my shoulder and then sent to US. My mammo report was incomplete due to dense tissue so referred to the US. It showed cyst at 12 O'clock position, which I fully expected, and hypoechoic lesion with irregular borders at 2 O'clock position. I had no clue that little bugger was hiding out in there. Xray of shoulder showed nothing. Biopsy of lesion at 2 O'clock was advised. Classified as Birad4. Unfortunately my insurance has a good hurry up and wait game. But they finally came through and I have an appt. for biopsy on the 21st. I still have high hopes that these issues are totally unrelated. Shoulder shows nothing but it could be neck & nerves. Right? And from what I understand fibroids can be painful and have irregular edges. Holding out for best case scenario to keep what sanity I have left.

DJmammo- Yes, you are correct in your assumption. That was simply my ignorance. Maybe even a southern thing. LOL! But thank you for your response even if it doesn't open a wider window to staying hopeful. I'll post results when I get them.
