Five years ago yesterday I swallowed my first letrozole tablet. Five years seemed like a long, long time, but I blinked and it's behind me.

No side effects worth mentioning, and I hope my MO agrees to keep me on it for at least another five.

Congratulations on 5 yrs way to go!!!!

I have been on ALs for 7 yrs. Been thinking about going off the drug. Does anybody have any thoughts on this. One of my major problems is I cannot sleep. And of course I have osteopenia. Took my first reclast this past April. Yearly injections. I have 3 more years to go. Just not sure what to do. My OC want me on it for 10 yrs.

sbelizabeth…what precious grand blessings they are!! I be they do keep you hopping!! KKhale..congrats on 7 years!!!! My encouragement would be to stay on the Als for 10 years if possible. Do you take melatonin for sleep? Melatonin has studies that support taking 20 mg per night for sleep as well as for BC…which I do. But, before considering this please research for yourself as there are several studies and you should start out with 3mg. Also, do you take D3 with K2 for your bones as I believe this supplement has worked well for my bones…but again please reserach before doing so.

Thank you hopefour. I have tried melatonin. 3 mg. Did nothing for me. I did not know you could take 20mg. I am currently taking lorazepam for sleep. But I am trying to get off of it I also take Advil p.m. for sleep and joint pain I take D3 10,000 IU about 4-5 times a week. I will have to look up K2 not familiar with it. Thank you for your encouragement.
