I had the chance to see my ultrasound report. It said I had hypoechoic lesions that needed to be looked at further.

Of course I googled this and Dr Google tells me these are more often than not malignant. Anyone know anything about these?

I'm waiting to get the ok from insurance that I can get an MRI done.

Oneoutofsix, I'm sorry! I don't anything about them, but I'm making myself crazy looking up all of the findings on my reports too. It's obviously best if we wait for our results and not diagnose ourselves with everything! I can't seem to practice what I'm preaching, but I'm sure it's the right thing to do!

    Hang in there!

Oneoutofsix, it would be helpful if you posted this question in your other thread so people can understand your question in context with what is going on with you.

I think hypoechoic lesions is a pretty broad term. If they're giving you a Birads 0 rating then it just means that they really don't have enough info.

If you've already had a mammogram and US done, getting the MRI covered by insurance shouldn't be too hard. Each modality has it's strengths.

    I hope you hear soon!
