I am just at the beginning of my battle, and I was wondering if you could go back in time, before you were diagnosed, and told yourself one thing, what would it be? I need help.

I would tell myself "I can do this" and to not get ahead of myself! It's hard to not project into the future or obsess over possibilities, but that doesn't really help you get through today.

If it's before I was diagnosed, I would tell myself to stop worrying about stupid things! Seriously!!! (I am talking to myself here, LOL).

Hi Marissa, and welcome to Breastcancer.org,

We're so sorry for the reasons that bring you here, but we're really glad you found our incredible Community. We're sure you'll receive tons of inspirational advice, support, and information here as you navigate your diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and beyond!

While there are many here who will be happy to offer some words of wisdom, as you can already see, you may find some more practical information by starting a thread in the Just Diagnosed forum, where you can join in with others just starting this journey. There's also an excellent thread there called Just Diagnosed - Get Prepared, with lots of practical tips to help you get prepared for the days ahead.

We hope this helps, and we look forward to hearing more from you soon, and supporting you the whole way!

Marissa- I love this question from someone newly diognosed. I think you will get may responses. Really listen to what Everyone has to say I think you will benefit from all. I would try not to get overly stressed. This really easier sad than done. Hug
