Hi, sorry to hear of your recurrences. I used the folks at UTSW: Rachel Wooldridge for the BS and Sumeet Teotia for recon. I had implant reconstruction and was a rarity among the patients, with many of them having DIEPs and other flap type surgeries being done. Dr Teotia was "rushed" and a bit of a "diva" and I am currently planning a revision with another surgeon. Dr Nick Haddock works with Dr Teotia, but seems to be much more personable and every bit as skilled. If I were starting completely over, my choice would be Dr Haddock.

I'm using Jason Potter, who was recommended by my BS, but I won't have had any radiation, so I can't speak to that. I do know he does flap procedures, and my MO at Baylor said I had one of their best. He's in a building at the corner of 75 and Park across from Northpark. I like him, and I really like his NP

I looked at the guys from UTSW and Dr Ricardo Meade (same office as Jason Potter above). Dr Meade had over 75 good reviews and I met 3 people I think who used him and I went with him. The people that have seen my scar since then (just to put implants in, no reconstruction yet) say it looks really good. Having him do the DIEP flap in Sept, he does them every Monday. Who was your breast surgeon? I'm surprised they didn't recommend someone. I met Dr Teotia also and though I liked him, I felt like he was rushing as well. I don't know if Dr Meade does procedures on radiated skin or not. I've not heard about the guys you mentioned. Good luck and I"m glad to have some Dallas names on here!
