Hey everyone,

I have had a bruise-like pain near my hairline on the front of my head for almost 3 months, no injury. My question is for those who have had these. Can you please describe the symptoms you felt? Did you experience anything like I described? Thanks so much guys xox

My skull mets are not painful, and there has never been anything on the skin. I have multiple mets there. I wish you the best. Enjoy the moment.

    What did your doctor say?

As far as mets being there? Not too much, they won't interfere with anything.

I've had the same pain for months, though it's about 2 inches above my hairline on the right side, near where I part my hair. I did have a skull met closer to the back of my head, but it's disappeared with treatment (clinical trial of Abemaciclib + pi3k inhibitor + faslodex). I haven't brought up the pain to my MO, but scans haven't shown any new skull mets. Honestly, I've attributed the pain to the fact that I spend a lot of time hunched over a computer and it's probably nerve pain.

Sorry for being so late with my follow up response :(

As it turned out I indeed have skull mets, about 5 of them. I was recently hospitalized because of severe pain from progression. I had some radiation done on the back of the head so I could lay down without pain. Worked like a charm!! Now I have a, what I am calling "lopsided unicorn horn", "devil horn", growing out of my forehead near my hairline. Onc does not know what it is so hoping the upcoming scans will help figure out what it is!! Oh this cancertrain, please let me off!!!!!!!
