What do you consider your anniversary date of being cancer free?

    Artista is correct. There is no cure. I too am glad you are NED (no evidence of disease). Hopefully I'll be able to say I'm NED after 8 years.

    It's kind of awfully to think that there is no cure while I saw plenty of people died from old age after BC. Using the same logic, nothing is curable then because one can get same disease again after one is treated.

    My oncologist who is pretty famous told me for the first timers it's a cure after treatment. If the cancer comes back, then there is no cure.
