I told my RO nurse last week that I always feel on the verge of tears - even when someone is being kind to me. She said she thinks it's probably coming from the fatigue, which I started feeling by Week 2. I only have eight more treatments (three regular and five boosts) to go!

bclibrary: I cry. It's embarrassing, and sometimes I take xanax and it helps, but that requires me realizing I might cry.

Last cry was after the 6 month surgery check up. The assistant said all the wrong things to me: NO. I am not glad I have been forced into menopause, The SE from chemo induced menopause are terrible. NO. I am not "retired", it's called not being able to work and working through the economic stress and loss of career. NO. That rash on my chest is from 25 rounds of radiation, not flushing because of your questions.

Sometimes I cry in the radiation/tomography tube. Not really big heaves, just little tears.

Ken1212: It's just going to take time. My husband has been very supportive. I hope she will not push you away. Try to forgive her often. There's lots of ups and downs during treatment. I think about my overall body shape and that I am a "uni" now. Tell her she looks good.
