How much rippling of implants is normal?

I exchanged my TEs for silicone anatomical implants on may 17. I have an increasing amount of rippling, especially on the right side. It's not bad if I stand up straight, especially if I arch my back, but if I lean over it looks pretty godawful. My plastic surgeon seems unconcerned. Does everybody have some rippling?

hiya, I had my exchange a week before you and I'm wondering the same thing. I had rippling almost immediately after the surgery and it's not getting any better. My surgeon said it's because I'm quite thin and not a lot can be done about it. I'm very interested in what other peoples experiences are

You need to give it 6 weeks to SIX MONTHS to determine how it will all shake out. Try to step away from your mirrors.

I have read -- and it's been true in my case -- that rippling is one of those things that will not get better with waiting; in fact, as the swelling subsides, the rippling is only going to look more pronounced.

In fact, my left side is also rippling, though it wasn't visible until a good three months had passed. Until then, it was cushioned by the plumped up, somewhat swollen, healing tissues.

My right showed rippling from the start, and as healing has progressed, has become extremely noticeable.

I will be attempting fat grafting on both sides in a few months. Hopefully, this will fill in some of the rippling.

Hercules - you may be impatient, but the internal healing & swelling with proceed at it's own pace. You're only 5 weeks out. It's unlikely your plastic surgeon would do any more surgery this soon, but you can always ask him/her.

There are threads about fat grafting if you all want to read more.
