as far as I know cannabis oil isn't approved for adults only children in NC. And that w/o the THC. I think it should be medically legal for all w/the THC. I'd be glad for the use just for arthritis. But you know how it is.

Lots of knowledge on this page:

hello, just thought I would drop in to let you know I have been using Rick Simpson oil since I was DX on 3/2015. I use one part cbd to two parts indica thc. There is a lot of great research out there if this interests you. MM has helped with all my side effects, May be a coincidence that I responded so well to treatment and I pray it will last a while longer.
Keep shining bright

Google Darren Miller, Granite City, ILHe states he cured his stage 4 lung cancer with the oil. He has been on many social media and news groups. I have met him and seen his before and after pics, test results. Just remember the THC in the oil has to be over 50%

Hello, Everyone. I live in a non-MM state. While I cannot (legally) get THC or RSO and all of the benefits that they provide, I can get basic CBD oil through Amazon. Can anyone recommend a brand and dose? Or are those products ineffective and a waste of money?
-
Laura I am in WI to, can we order CBD oil in WI? I wondered about that.
-
Yes, we can get CBD as long as there's no THC in it. Just search CBD Oil on Amazon. They delivered a bottle to my House in WI.My question is, are any of these any good?
-
what kind did you get from amazon they show a lot of different ones
-
Look into Charlotte's Web -- Stanley Brothers in CO. They have a great reputation.
I live in non-MM state, unfortunately. -
You can get this on Amazon??!! Wow times have changed. I'm all about it. Any recommendations for general anxiety?
-
I bought Hemp Oil on Amazon. They have lots of items labeled CBD Oil and Hemp Oil. I have absolutely no idea if these really do anything. I was hoping that someone with real cannabis experience would chime in. For me, a few tablespoons of Hemp Oil make it easier to get to sleep and stay asleep. However, that could all be in my imagination and just a placebo effect. Here's the link to the stuff I bought:

I live in Wa. state and it's been legal here for medical use for a number of years and legal for recreational for a couple of years. However, it has only been decriminalized in our state, which means, it is illegal federally, so most of us could loose our jobs if we used and got dug tested, even for medical. But, my husband and I are researching it and are looking into what is the most effective. I am at a point I don't care if I was to get fired for medical use, because I need to do what is best for me and my family and if CBD can make the difference, so be it I absolutely love my job and would be sad if I lost my job, but I have been at my job for 10 years and have never been drug tested and I don't see it in our budget.
Anyway, what I have read is it is important to get the highest levels in order for it to be effective. -
hello.....i'm on a break from thc and cbd RSO.....i have been using this oil (made from a indica strain not sativa which can make you jumpy) since i was DX in 2015....i would say it helped for a long time but now i have progression and im afraid my cancer has gotten immune to the oil....i'm also on a new drug called a parp inhibitor and i dont want it to interfere with it....there is no research so i wont risk it....i have found that for SE (eating, sleeping, and pain) the cbd oil works well, the thc will get you high the cbd wont....it is my understanding that hemp oil has no measurable cbd or thc so they can ship it anywhere, it is a very healthy oil to use in place of veg oil but in terms of what we are talking about i dont think there is any medicinal value (sorry)...the cbd and thc oil or candy will be labeled with the percent thats in it and if you're lucky name the bud it was made from(each strain feels a lil different)...i will take this break till my next set of scans and then decide if i should spend the money on it again (expect to pay about $80 for a syringe full, i think its a gram)...it is very potent so you start with a piece the size of a grain of rice...oh you can also get a vape cartridge if that sounds better for you but I always ate it...
helen and laura I wish you luck in whatever you decide and i hope you're blessed with a long run with no progression or TX....

Luckily I live in a state where it is legal and it seems like the availability in "stores" is cropping up everywhere. I wish I had more time to research and get going on getting a card. Do you have to get a medical card approval from your Onc? I don't think she will approve much but whatever helps......I don't feel I NEED it quite yet but want to be ready when i do.
-
artista,
I have had a mm card since the beginning of this year. I am a Kaiser patient and a social worker in the oncology dept. put me in touch with a doctor who did a FaceTime interview with me and then issued the card. It cost about $40.00 and needs to be renewed annually. Not really looking for anything curative but I find a 1:1 THC/CBD sublingual spray helps with AI induced joint pain. It was quite easy. I have also been in touch with a company that provides free CBD oil to cancer patients (who already have mm card), but haven't gotten further than initial inquiry. PM me for specifics if you're interested
-
hi...i live in michigan and our cards cost $60 every 2 years....i never asked my onc about it or my pain doc, i did tell my pain doc about my using because he has a very strict policy about not using while on pain meds and i fail my drug test every year, he says he just wants me to "beat this" and he lets it slide....i see another doc to get my cert every 2 years...i also did a 1/1 ratio of cbd/thc
big hugs to all

Hi! I've been reading alot about this topic with interest. I was diagnosed with ER+/PR+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer in Feb 2015 and I'm on my first line treatment (Tamoxifen & Lupron). I'm interested in medical marijuana to mitigate bone pain. (Technically, one of my two tumors in my spine sits on my spinal nerve.) I'm a little confused as there seems to be mixed opinions.
My questions to you are: (1) What is the appropriate ratio of THC:CBD given that I'm ER+/PR+/HER2-? I've read repeatedly that 1:1 or 1:3 is recommended. (2) Should I stick with a low concentration? I'm a little nervous about interactions with Tamoxifen.

An organization called Realm of Caring in Colorado, provides anecdotal evidence on results along with research and dosing information. I went to a workshop and got some helpful information. The are in FB and aren't selling mm...just sharing info
