Bras?

I have a few questions about bras with reconstruction (specifically pre-pec silicone):

How long were you instructed to wear a bra after surgery? Any specific type?

How about brand or style of bra once recovered? Anything not super expensive or specialty fitted?

I'm currently wearing these pretty stretchy "sport" type bras - not real supportive but fairly comfortable - 24/7. I hate having a bra on all the time, especially so much fabric on my back. And I can't imagine fitting into "normal" bras with implants that seem wide and flat.

I have pre pec anatomic 440 ccs silicone on both sides. I bought Coobie bras and wear them all the time. So comfy- no wires it's like I am not even wearing a bra!

EVery single surgeon & plastic surgeon is different. Some say wear a binder for 6 weeks. Some recommend underwire. Others say NEVER underwire. I got a surgical bra & had to keep it on for 4 weeks. Then my PS recommended I wear a bra for 6 months.

There's a thread that's not very active but has TONS of great information about bras. Look for Bras 101
