I have so much obsolete stuff that nobody on Craigslist would even take off my hands for free (e.g., Palm Pilot accessories, old software & computer books, etc.). I really need to start using these next three weeks without my housekeeper (she’s still not bearing weight on her surgical foot) to discard it—as luck would have it, I also have lots and lots of empty wine cartons to throw out, so I will combine the two tasks. But also running out of room in the wine racks.

Sandy, DH said he has the same issue with his clutter. LOL he has one of the very first Apple computers.
-
Gordy, age 32,still has his Apple IIc from grade school--he never uses it but says it'd break his heart to give it away.
-
My son Jon is 37 and My daughter Serena is 35 and we still have their Atari game system and our Commador computer system both in original boxes and we can't seem to let them go either. Funny the things we hold onto, makes me wonder if it'll work if we hook it up to the new age tvs we have today? Hhhmmmm I can see an Atari party night in the near future lol
-
Wish my hubby still had his Atari. Loved those games!!!!

well back from my final rad treatment, yea, met also with my new onco and team at sloan kettering
Do like the new doc, she explains things more than my old one
She feels that while i was homone positive originally, i may no longer be so, i am going to be tested and plan is to do a new med but it takes a bit to get approved, had to sign release and stuff
Actually will get 2 weeks off til new med gets approced. Also got slight case of thrush so stuff to gargle for that
She also said since i,am stage 4 no more mamos but will be doing other scans
Nap time now
-
iris, you are handling this stage 4 stuff so well. I can't even imagine.
-
Iris.......your our inspiration........keep fighting girlfriend.......
-
Iris, we know you can handle this. Perhaps the possibility of being hormone-negative means you can ditch the Aromasin.
-
i expect to ditch the aromasin but doc said i will be taking a boatload of pills and asked me if i would be able to handle a ton of pills, i said i take nasty l take huge multivitamin and big old calcum now so hey......course the option.....i like living!

Lucy, still praying for your DGS. My oldest GD Nicole got deathly sick about 8 years ago. High fever, swollen joints and a rash. At first they said juvenile arthritis but ruled it out. They couldn't figure out what was wrong so they called in a disease specialist. Nicole had different blood tests done to find any type of possible insect involvement. After the tests came back positive for flea enzymes they discovered she had an unusual amount of flea bites on her head which was hard to see thru her little by dark hair. Nicole was put on medication to fight what I think they called flea fever/typhus(?) I know ticks can make people deathly ill such as rocky mountain spotted fever. I'm praying they find what's causing your little guy to be so sick 🤞 Keeping everyone close to you and your DGS in my thoughts and prayers 🙏💜
Iris, yay! You're done with rads! You've got this and we've got your back!
-
Go Iris! So glad you like your new team. Sounds as if they're being thoughtful and are having some good ideas for you. And you made it through rads--good news!
Lucy, your GS is in my thoughts. I hope they figure it out, and soon!
xoxox to all.
-
Lucy - sending more prayers for your DGS.

Last night we attended my son Matthew's graduation from high school. He is a caring young man and I love him with my whole heart.
-
Poppy - Thanks for the pic of your wonderful grad. What's next for Matthew? (PS - What a lovely staircase)
-
Congrats..........on to bigger and better things.....
-
Poppy, congratulations to Matthew! He looks so handsome, and I love the band sash!
-
Congrats Poppy! Your son is a very handsome boy.
Between the heat wave and other stuff going on in my life, I have been trapped not in Crazy Town, but Insanity Acres again! The worst part about it was that it was hubby and I were marking 13 years of marriage this week and everyone I know except for my mom, stepdad and younger brother's family gave us a Happy Anniversary! And the funny thing was I called my mom deliberately on that day to see if they remembered what day it was and all I got from that bunch was what was going on in their lives! That these people ignored that special occasion hurt way too much! These are the same people that if you forget any important is going on in their lives or they demand that you be there for something and you have already had planned something else weeks in advance, they get bent out of shape! Ah well, some people are just so wrapped up in their own pettiness! Should have expected it by now! Sorry for the rant but still I figured that you gals would understand!
-
Mommy..........Happy Anniversary from your adopted Mom..........
-
Thanks Ducky, I am so lucky to have you in my life.
-
Thanks everyone! Matthew is going to attend junior college so he can figure out what he wants to study (without costing us an arm and a leg).
Sorry Mommy about your mom. I think we both were cheated out of having a real mom. Glad we have Ducky. ❤️
Today my youngest son, Alex completed middle school. 😍
-
I think I forgot to show you. ladies my newest great-grandaughter.....if I already did forgive me....her name is Genevieve Nicasia...

Just enjoy the years with your kids...it goes by so fast.....now I am awaiting the birth of my grandaugher Kaileen...she is due Aug. 7th....she is my sweetheart.....
-
The picture above is Kaileen (due in August) with here Father, and her husband......she is our sweetheart..everyone loves her
