Top Treatment Centers Int'l??? For Newly Dx

Options

Hiya Int'l Cancer Beauties

I was diagnosed 2 days ago. I am currently living/ working in a conflict zone aboard. There are no treatment centers here. So I will need to travel. I am blessed to have insurance which will cover me. My dilemma or challenge is the coverage is much much better if I seek surgery and treatment internationally than at home in the US. Of course, like everyone, I want the best. I am feeing overwhelmed by searching internationally. Financially it is a much better decision for me abroad. I do have a couple friends who are willing to fly out and stay with me for a bit, as well, so I have some support being away from home.

Anyone know of any good facilities that would also be adaptable to an english speaking patient. (I know this forum said for non-english speakers, however I don't see an int'l for english speakers) I know they exist! And as much as I know there are awesome facilities in the US, I know there must also be some just as good abroad.

Thank you in advance.

Hi! Could Switzerland be an option? Majority of doctors here speak English and standards of care are excellent

    Thanks so much!

The only thing about Switzerland is it's some of the most expensive living in the world. I do not have disability and will be living off my savings for recovery from surgery and any necessary treatment. I need to consider the cost of living a factor with where I choose. Is that your experience Ren47?

Paris is still expensive, but I think less than Switzerland. Love it if you would elaborate, Stephaniebc

Austria or Germany would be much cheaper than Switzerland.

The University of Freiburg has lots of info in English.

Info on Vienna General Hospital/Medical University of Vienna is harder to get in English. Maybe just contact them directly.
