Waiting to get in for biopsy

Had a mammogram and ultrasound on May 30th due to something I felt above my right breast. Was told during the US that nothing showed up in that particular spot. However, I saw the tech focused in on and measuring at least 1 something. I was not surprised to get the call two days later that the radiologist is suggesting a biopsy based on what I saw on the screen. Frustrated with the process: Imaging center requests biopsy, sends that info to my doctor, my doctor has to fill out referral and get insurance okay, once the imaging center gets the referral they will review the file again before making an appointment. Call end of day Friday to the imaging center to see if they got my referral back yet-- nope. I did ask how long it was going to be to get in once they have the referral to be seen since I had to wait 2 months for my mammogram appointment. Looks to be at least 2 weeks. I do have a regular doctor appointment that was previously scheduled tomorrow morning. I will be asking for a copy of the report since I got no details other than we want you to go back. I'm not freaking out or panicking-- I am just impatient to know one way or another.

No appointment yet. I did, however, get the copy of my US and mammogram results. Bi-RADS 4. Partially well-circumscribed hypo-echoic 1.1 cm nodule. I know it is not an answer but the 4 made me breathe a little easier for the moment.
