When we're your side effects the worse?

I have just received my first of 6 doses of TCHP. I will receive a dose every 3 weeks.

I have heard that the second week of the 3 week cycle is the worst for side effects. Was that what you found? If not, what was your experience?

Also, have been told that with each infusion, your side effects get worse. Was that what you found?

Thank you!

Upheld - there are several threads for TCHP chemo, both adjuvant & new-adjuvant. I suggest you ask your questions on one of those. Or on the Chemo June 2017 or Chemo May 2017.

However, if you were just diagnosed 5/3, how can you have already received 6 infusions of TCHP? They are usually scheduled 3 weeks apart?

I have received only one dose, 5 more to go. And, yes, every 3rd week. Sorry for the confusion!

I have been very lucky as far as side effects go, but I'm on a different regimen - TC, every three weeks. No nausea, no swelling, no taste changes, no lack of appetite, unfortunately, the worst so far has been the joint and bone pain from the Neulasta, and all things considered, I'll take it. After the first week, I'd say I feel pretty much like normal. Now if the rest of my hair would go on and fall out I wouldn't have the scalp pain and itching
