    Hi Hodicall,

    • The scans I had following my treatments showed a small lung nodule that unfortunately ended up being mets from my original tumor. The good news is that it's now gone and I currently have no evidence of disease (NED). I was fortunate enough to have the nodule cryoablated. It's not a common procedure but there has been more and mote research that shows great hope with this procedure in terms of leaving no residual cancer and even helping the body's immune response. If this is not an option, I've also seen members who have had success in the surgicalremoval of single mets. There are threads here that discuss Oligometastases, which is what they are calling the presence of one to a few mets. If anything, know that there are options and people who have had a similar experiences who are living life to its fullest!
