Hi! I was diagnosed with TNBC 2 months ago. I had partial mastectomy 30 days ago. I started chemo yesterday. I did not realize my regime has Taxotere -which can cause permanent hair loss.  Anyone have success with Taxotere and get their hair back? My 2nd drug is cyclophosphamide. Every two weeks for 2 months. Having major stomach burning and some bladder burning. I am Stage 2 Grade 3.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, permanent hair loss is a possibility, but remote. Most us get our hair back in good order - although sometimes changed - straight instead of curly, grey instead of brown, etc. Mine came back dark instead of grey. Go figure.

Below is a link with LOTS of tips for how to get through chemo. When you get a minute, go to My Profile and add your diagnosis & treatment so further answers will be able to see at a glance.

You should consider joining the thread with women going through chemo now. Probably something like Chemo May 2017 or Chemo Summer 2017. I found a lot of support by joining those.

Here you go - starting chemo June 2017. When I started chemo I also went back & read the thread from the month or quarter that was over to watch the progress.
