Lump on back of my neck
Has anyone ever heard of breast cancer mets showing up in an occipital lymph node? I'm 2 years out from my last chemo and have a lump on the back of my head/neck. It's been there since at least March. It doesn't move. It's very firm. It feels like it's getting more pronounced. Just curious if anyone else has dealt with this?

I've never heard of this but perhaps mention to your doctor and have him /her check it out. They work for you so don't be afraid to have the, check you out. Good luck.

Well, we did an X-ray to see if maybe it was some type of calcium deposit since my Vitamin D is always below the mark and I take daily calcium supplements and have to take a weekly dose of fosomax due to osteoporosis (caused by Graves' disease). There was no sign of calcium in X-ray so doc says next step is MRI. Waiting to see if insurance will okay it.
