Crazy pockets of swelling

have had lymphedema like forever. I have been very stable but am curious if anyone has pockets of swelling. My primary swelling is thumb and foefinger, my elbow and most recently under my armpit.

    I've not been officially diagnosed with LE at this point, but the last week or so, just my thumb is swollen. I was wondering the same thing, I assumed the whole arm would swell, no

    It is my elbow area that I deal with. The only times I had issues with hand/fingers was IF the wrong level compression glove is used. I have to have low compression as my body is very sensitive to compression levels. With higher than 18 - 21 is used my hand will puff up like a gallon within minutes.

    Thankfully I have a fantastic LET Guy and it did take a bit of 'work' on our parts to get the correct garments for me. Part of that has to do with I am syndactyly. Though mine is rather mild for syndactyly, it is definitely a challenge to get measurements for custom glove so it can be worn without literally cutting the webbing between my fingers.

    There is no 'One Size Fits All'. For anything - especially LE. We all need to educate ourselves. Learn what works for us individually - not automatically doing what may be told to do.
