Note: This will take you to a PDF. It doesn't seem to download automatically though ... it just takes you to a website/PDF. Anyway --- Click Here If you don't want to do that, Google something like : Talazoparib: A Potentially Best-In-Class PARP Inhibitor to find more info.

I am on this med with Irinotecan for the I-Spy 2 trial. I know we don't really have many options for treatments, so I thought I would let anyone know about this info.

There is more than breast cancer on this link, but I couldn't really separate it out. Pg 30 has the BC info, especially for those BRCA positive. Some don't like all the technical stuff about how it works, but I love that.

I don't know if I am BRCA positive or not, but they are trying it out in TNBC patients, MammaPrint High risk, a few other qualifications. You can check out the Ispy-2 website for more info; I think there are other trials, like the EMBRACA trial listed on one of these boards; maybe one closer in your area. It looks pretty promising I think.

My mom is a triple negative patient with her 3rd recurrence in five years and we are looking at options. What has been your experience with this? She does not have the BRCA gene.

My wife is now triple negative as her ER+ turned. This new drug sounds real interesting. It says it's really powerful and has a high rate of effectiveness, however, I couldn't find how many subjects it helps. Maybe highly effective with 10% of subjects?

PDF worked great for me. Thanks.
