I am 2 months out from direct to implant delayed reconstruction. At 2 weeks out started to have an itching burn that would come and go. Had been hospitalized for a PE at 3 weeks where they did a CT scan and said there was inflammation on chest wall was put on more antibiotics in totall 4 weeks of antibiotics. Now my implant is a constant burn that has gotten worse with pain if I rub or it pounces. Have also started getting white bumps on the top. Ps said pain management when it was just the burning itch and that it should clear up with time.

I'm confused. If you have a direct to implant, you don't have delayed reconstruction. Did you have a tissue expander put in place and then reconstruction? I'm trying to count how far you are from initial surgery. Is it 9 weeks? It definitely sounds like something is wrong. If your PS won't listen, you need to go to a doc you trust - like your BS or you Gyn. Good luck

I did a delayed reconstruction after finishing treatment. Was able to put silicone implant in because bs left enough skin tissue. I am 10 weeks out from surgery. Have playing phone tag with pcp since ps is on vacation
