Swelling at the base of my neck

I noticed that there is an area at the base of my neck, on the side of my cancer about the size of a 1/2 dollar. There is no lump, just a defined swollen area.
Is this something I should be concerned about?

Sounds like a supraclavicular node. More than likely some kind of inflammation or infection. Certainly wouldn't hurt to get it checked.

Any abnormality like that warrants attention. Call your doc. Hoping it is just a reactive node

Could it be a node even if I don't feel a lump?

Does it hurt, like a pulled muscle?
There's some weird bug causing ear ache and neck pain and takes weeks to get over.
Hope that's all it is.
