Wanted to drop by and give y'all an update. I had my scans last week and today I seen my MO. It seems that even though my tumor markers continue to rise, my scans were read out stable. I was thrilled. First scan in a year that didn't show progression. I was taking Carboplatin every other chemo, Abraxane every week. He changed it to get both every week. So maybe it will get even better next time. Thanks to all of you for standing beside me and praying for me. Y'all are awesome. Enjoy the moment

That's great Kandy! Get out there by that pool and garden and soak up summer! WooHoo!

Kandy! I was so behind on the thread, I was going to write to "stay strong, and we'll crowd-source solutions when the data come back", but no need!! One of those wonderful times when you see that modern medicines truly are very strong, and you have to give them time to work- its seems sometimes MOs do rush through options when they have to guess whether or not its working!! Make some new plans and celebrate the summertime!!
-
Great news Kandy! You are in my thoughts.

Great news!

great news. This call for celebration and thanks giving
-
Kandy, I hope this gives you some relief so that you can, as you say, enjoy the moment!
-
Thank you ladies for joining my party for the celebration. I guess my steroid drugs from chemo today are keeping me awake. Guess it wanted me to have some extra time to party, lol. This was definitely some much needed results. I was beginning to think I was going to just keep going downhill. Who knows what the future will be, but for now I am happy and relieved. I'm praying for all of you. Enjoy the moment.

Late to the party but glad you are still in celebration mood. Fantastic news. Now you need to start a new thread.
