Skin care w/ chemo

Hi everyone :)

I've Googled and tried to find recommendations on my own, but I'll admit to having little focus this weekend. I just started TC last week and I can already tell my skin is SUPER dry. I live in a dry area, so I've usually put lotion on my face. I think I need something better/different than what I've been using. Any recommendations?

I really liked Lindi Skin care products when I went through chemo. My skin felt horrible, dry, itchy, tight, plus doing wonky things like breaking out. I was given a sample of the Lindi chemo skin care line and my skin felt so much better after trying it. I only used it through chemo/herceptin because it's really pricey but I think it was worth it to use during that time.

Clinique has a great moisturizer that's light, not greasy and leaves your skin feeling great called moisture surge. They also have a great eye cream to keep that area moisturizer as well. And just a little bit goes a long way. If that's not enough moisture then I'd try the Bobbie Brown skincare line. Both companies will give you samples to try before you buy. I had to change out all my skincare products with treatment too. Good lyck

I have dry skin due to low thyroid and chemo definitely made it worse. I used coconut oil all over.  It's cheap and it really made my skin so soft. Plus, I smell like an Almond Joy, LOL. But only for a couple minutes. (Get it in the cooking oil aisle.)

I don't know whether she was specifically talking about my face, but my nurse told me to use something that had urea in it
