week one of chemo
Just finished first week post chemo and had nausea through it - was able to eat and drink but was taking olanzapine till this morning. I typically have a rock for a stomach so this was not fun! I found that if I eat frequently that seems to help - any other ideas?

Antiemetics
Treat anxiety if needed
Fluids lots in any form you can tolerate
Small meals - I found crisps or crackers helped - some salt needed as plenty of hot flashes
Some movement - gently walk fresh air
Control sleep

Thank you wildplaces next round will try valerian drops in my drink for possible anxiety.

ella - look for the current chemo group - maybe summer 2017, maybe May 20217... I found it was really helpful to share the experience with a bunch of other people going through it at the same time.

I started chemo may 15th. I'm looking for the same group so that I can get/give some support. I haven't found it yet. Let me know if you find it. Or do we need to create a new group?
