ENZALUTAMIDE HAVE YOU BEEN ON IT?

I am looking for ladies that were on the trial of Enzalutamide. Please let us know asap. Decision has to be made right away. Thanks

Hey Mom! Your onc is pure genius. The Xtendi has been very successful with the triple negative and the Herceptin can clean up those pesky her2 cells. They will find a cure for this and Dani will be a part of it. Hold on to hope. She is a miracle!

Hi but i heard it kinda not took off. And what about the fact that it could be too slow or not enough of an umph(my language) to kick this in the butt.
-
Do you know anybody that was on it? I'd love to know. Thanks
-
Momallthetime! I'm excited about you considering this trial. When i applied the trial closed at my location before they tested my sample for AR. So they didn't even do the AR testing after all.
-
Hmm well i hope i would share your excitement. But it does help. First, maybe you ask them to test anyway, it's just a blood test, and then you will at least know where you are at. It's just that's it's such a luck thing that it's hard to get excited, but it does make me feel better to hear that more people heard of it for BC.Thanks.

Mom, I understand what you mean, please hang in there. I admire so much your strength and dedication.
I didn't push for the test because they were using the sample from my Jan 2015 mastectomy since there's no tissue left from my April 2016 liver biopsy, and we know how this beast changes.

i will try to hang in there. re: the testing for the AR it was taken the same day she had her blood drawn, 1 2 3, nothing to it. It was not done through a biopsy. I actually learned from a thread here, someone mentioned how it became a thing, and i asked the Onco to do it, and they screwed up on the orders, so it took much longer, but it was done, and now she will be applying it. I just hope there is something to this brouhaha.

momallthetime. When are Dani's tests so she can get going? It is so hard with these new treatments. They don't work all the time but when they do they work well. Here is to hoping the AR factor is the missing link!

Fraidycat I spoke to Onco late friday , she is suppose to be working on ordering Xtandi as we speak. I hope so . And I hope the Insurance does not give her a hard time. herceptin she has been in the past, I have no idea if it did a/t for her, because she had progression all along. So it's all a big mystery. Will let you know when she starts, thanks so much.
