Hey all, I am a 27 year old who was just diagnosed with breast cancer. I don't know specifics yet, other than the fact that it's an aggressive cancer apparently. I guess I'm just looking for some encouragement, hopefully via success stories from people who have also been diagnosed young. So far I've just been hearing a lot of doom and gloom stuff(understandably), but it would be great to head the positive side. Thanks! :)

    Hey there!

I'm not that far out from my diagnosis but I'm here if you need to chat. After my diagnosis, it was helpful to me to realize that there are so many treatment options available these days; many women respond well to modern therapies and end up in remission.

No matter the details, this can be a difficult and scary process and you've found an excellent place to ask questions and voice your concerns. We're here for you!

Hi there... Can't believe how many women are getting dx'd with BC so young. I was dx'd April 2016 at age 27. I'm on the other side of it all now, a little over a year later, and I will tell you that the very beginning is the hardest part. The uncertainty and the waiting and the shock sucks, but you will come out on the other side. Unfortunately us young ladies tend to have pretty aggressive forms of BC. Mine was very aggressive also, so I was treated very aggressively as you will likely be too. You will find lots of support and success stories in this community! If you ever want to talk, having been through it recently, I'm happy to listen and help you through it if I can!

    Best,

    Kelly
