Has anyone ever had breast reduction?

...I had a unilateral mastectomy in Jan. 2014. (right side)

For 3 years, I've been wearing a fitted prosthetic and mastectomy bras.

But I've having a problem with sweat and rashes on my "good breast" in warmer environments, and it's gotten worse with age.

I met with a plastic surgeon in Dec. and she suggested a breast reduction/lift on my "good Boob." So the breast won't droop and hang as much.

Not a candidate for breast reconstruction.

I had a reduction jan 5 2017 bilaterally after bilateral lumpectomies. no regrets. scars still healing. no more boob sweat!!

I had a lumpectomy with a bilateral reduction. Recovery has been very easy and I am happy with the results so far (3 1/2 weeks post surgery)

Hi

I'm scheduled for bilateral reduction, following lumpectomy about 5 weeks ago. I realize that some of you had the lumpectomy and the reduction in the same surgery.

Do you have any advice about preparing for the recovery? Since both breasts are involved, are there any constructive things that would make it easier to be able to get back to activities like driving, etc.? Any things you wish you'd known before your surgery?
