Hi all!

Have any of you or someone you know had a palpable lymph node after neoadjuvant chemo that was found NOT to be cancer after surgery? I have TN stage III. The large breast tumor responded well to chemo half way in and the lymph has decreased but I'm done with chemo and there's a small "lump" still palpable in the arm pit. I know we won't know definitely until the pathology just wondering the chance something can be felt but it's possibly dead cancer cells etc.

Thanks

Hi Covered69, my situation was very similar - my tumour did shrink from the chemo and there was a palpable lymph node/'lump'. While I did not achieve a pCR, the surgery took out what the chemo didn't shrink. Wishing you all the best and know that there is hope!!
