Mammogram Results With Distortion

Hey everyone, Im 27 and found a lump in my left breast earlier this year.

Unfortunately due to some financial reason I postponed my doctors appointment for some time and have finally went. I received my results today where they guesstimated the size of the mass to be about 10cm possible more. I received a ultra sound first but were weary of the results so suggested a mammogram.

In the results they found the large mass with distortion also a swollen axillary lymph node. I haven't had any pain only when I'm laying flat on my chest in bed. I have no tenderness and feel no lump near my armpit where the swollen lymph node is located as well. Recently though I have experienced clear discharge from my nipple area but very tiny amount which I did notify my doctor of.

Next week I will be going in for a biopsy of the mass and lymph node. I am concerned it may be cancer and if so I am hoping its not as bad as the mammogram has lead me to believe.

I also had a question about distortion and wasn't to sure if this was still normal with benyne tumors as well.

Of course benign stuff creates distortion too. Often it is the benign fibroadenomas, etc that are very large, especially in young women.
