Anyone have bloodwork show inflammation and needed pet scan?

I saw my onc 2 days ago. She is usually calm and collected. This time she said she was concerned and puzzled about my bloodwork. My c-reactive protein number is 29.9 mg/L. Normal is

0.0 mg/L - 5.0 mg/L. My last bloodwork in August, it was 21.9 mg/L. My CSR is 24mm, same as in August, which is 4pts higher than normal. Both tests indicate inflammation somewhere in my body. Normally when an issue comes up, my doctors start with maybe an MRI or CT scan, and go from there. But she told me she was ordering a PET scan. I found this rather alarming that she jumped right to PET. Several times she repeated to me that she doesn't understand why my bloodwork is showing this, as well as saying it makes no sense. She said it could mean arthritis. I asked if could mean my cancer is back and she said yes. Anyone have anything similar to this?? I'm really worried!!

Have you found anything out? I'm having weird blood results too, but not the same tests as tours
