A year and a half post chemo, the symptoms really started about a year after but I kept getting misdiagnosed because I had not had the type of chemo that was supposed to cause CHF. Finally got diagnosed when EF was 10-15%. Spent 10 days in hospital, 6 in Cardiac ICU. Left with EF of 20-25%. Just finished Cardiac rehab have another Echo in May hope it has improved even more. While in CICU I lost 30lbs of fluid in 3 days!!!! Personally I think it was a combination of Arimidex, Chemo and the 7 surgeries in 1.25 years. Totally pissed that no one could figure this out until I literally felt like I was dying.

Keep posting ladies, trying to explain that this is chemo related to Oncologist.

glad you are feeling better thunder.

After another year break from herceptin, my EF is back to normal. Looks like I can only tolerate herceptin for 6 months or so. Gotta love managing these things
