Dark spots while on Chemo

I just had my second round of chemo. Due to the size and the aggressiveness of the cancer, my dr is giving me 3 weeks worth of chemo every 2 weeks. So far, my blood levels are good. I noticed that dark spots have appeared on my face. They are small, like largish freckles. Has anyone ever had something similar? And if so, do they go away or fade?
