Left Shoulder Blade pain that ones around to my left chest
For the last month or two I have been awoken at night to pretty significant pain that seems to start in my left shoulder blade and radiates around to my left breast (had a Bmx 4 years ago). The pain seems like it lasts forever, but probably is only 5 mins or less or I fall back to sleep.
Anyone else experience this

Hi Lori, I don't want to frighten you but that pain on your left side semmingly starting in your shoulder blade and is enough to awaken you really needs to be checked out. I'm not thinking cancer but heart. I'm not a doc but was a nurse and pain starting in the shoulder blade is a possible tell sign for heart problems.

Lori, you probably have already thought of this but left shoulder blade pain can be referred pain from your heart. If it were me I would get in to see my PCP as soon as possible and go from there.

It's good that you have an appointment but if you feel that pain before next Friday, please go to the ER. It's not something that should be left any longer.
