Hi, I am 22 years old and currently diagnosed Fibroadenoma for the past 1,5 years. As the doctor told me not to directly remove it instead observe it for 6 months. If it getting enlarged progressively, he then considered to remove it.

But today i feel like its getting closer around my nipple (probably 2 fingers away under the nipple) but thankfully i don't feel any pain or sore.

Does anybody feel the same? Should i worry regarding this matter? And should i undergo surgery? Words would be helpful 😞

Thank you..

I starting getting those when I was about 17. The doctors always removed them but I think nowadays they try to avoid unnecessary surgery. I had about 5 removed total. Surgery was not a big deal, imo. I was even awake for a couple of them, which was kinda weird.

I guess if you feel like it's getting larger, you may want to discuss surgery with your doctor. I had one that grew rapidly and I had a slight dent after the removal. Nothing disfiguring, though. Just might be a good idea to remove it before it gets larger requiring a bigger incision.

Hi kaydee! Thank you for your reply! It means a lot. Are your fibroadenomas moveable? I kinda worried about that. And about the surgery, i am really afraid about the anasthesia thing, so i still thinking to getting it remove while i awake. Is there any pain after the surgery? How long it takes for you to recover
