I am sorryโฆ. I have no wisdom only wanted you to know that there are scares along this journey and many end up being nothing. Have had a few myself. Could this be a bladder infection? Like I said I am really no help, but am praying all will be just fine!! Please keep us posted as I am sure someone with this experience or wisdom will respond to you!!

Not everything is cancer related. Could be other things, a uti, diabetes, bladder infection, just for starters. Or maybe you had done some extra, hard excercise?
See the doc, find out for sure, get peace of mind.

Actually, blood in my urine in microscopic amounts, was what got me in to the doctor. Since I hadn't seen anyone in a while she ordered a mammogram and that was the beginning of my journey with breast cancer. Anyway, back to the blood in the urine. It was diagnosed as interstitial cystitis. It is not curable but relatively harmless, albeit annoying, and it is treatable. As others have said your problem may very well be something harmless like a bladder infection or interstitial cystitis like me. Get in to the doc and try not to worry to much. I know, easier said than done!

I had some blood in my urine after my 4th round of chemotherapy. It ends up that it was a uti. Take a deep breath and wishing you the best

Hi ladies, I read and feel it all the time on this board....the support is just....well there are no words. I am trying so hard to breathe and not worry constantly but I find myself feeling weaker and weaker. I suppose because I was also just told that my liver enzymes are elevated and Pet Scan this Friday...that already has me like freaking out. So every little thing is bigger in my mind. I hate the waiting...I just want the test to be over. I feel sometimes like I am trapped in my own brain and there is a constant fight of stress and worry and constantly talking to myself to stay positive everything will be alright. I know I am not telling any of you anything new though....
Anyway sorry for going on and on but a huge THANK YOU!!!
I am going to make an app to see a Urologist as possible and counting down the time for this test. Not knowing is stressing me to no end. Anyway thank you again and I will definitely post what has happened. Sending out ...good news vibes โบ breathing breathing breathing....

Hello (again) Kali! I wanted to add that I have elevated liver enzymes and I was super worried about it. I've had multiple tests over the last 18 months to rule out mets. (liver and gall bladder ultra sound, liver MRI, PET, CAT, bone scan, and another ultrasound) They all were clear and in the end, I am told that I have "fatty liver" disease that likely predates my cancer. During all of the scans, I read about fatty liver but didn't think that could apply to me since I'm not obese. I convinced myself so many times that it must be the worst; but there is a relatively harmless explanation. I will hope for the same for you. Hang in there!

Thank you for sharing Hammie...I truly appreciate it. I have to say between my husband saying no matter what happens we will figure it out and you all sharing experiences, advive, support and the fact that this might not be serious. I do feel better able to handle whatever is to come...or at least stronger than I was at first lol
I think so many of you should be therapists for all of us because I feel you understand us all so much better than even the best Dr. And just as important you all are so knowledgeable and truly understand, being in it yourselves and that makes u all so caring unlike some doctors who, I am sure have to be, somewhat unemotional.
Anyway Thank you to everyone.
Still breathing ๐

I bet that you are good...maybe just a little uti or overactive sex...( just hoping, LOL

I just want to say there is no need to apologize for getting very anxious and upset. It is a relief to know I'm not alone. Good luck, and as a person who has kidney disease (before cancer) a wee bit of blood is very often not serious, but your doctor is right to have it looked into.

Hello everyone ๐
Test is done and my husband found out that it was sent to my mo right away however, no call from him. I could have called to see what was happening but to quite honest it was already such a long long day that I opted to wait until Monday. I just didn't feel up going back forth fielding calls to ensure I got the results.
I also didn't want know but I wanted to and just decided that I wanted to enjoy my weekend without possible added stress, in the event that the results aren't favorable. I am also not feeling well and just didn't have the energy to do anything more today than I absolutely had to do. Mr. Cold is visiting and making my days awful but this too shall pass.
Thx MargM sorry about kidney disease. I am thankful, however bummed for more tests, to check it out to make sure all is well. Thank you DAHL, spookiesmom, livebig and hopefour for your replies. Beatmon...Sex? I wish but I think I have forgotten what that feels like...whole other topic for sure lol
Anyway ladies off to relax. I hope I haven't missed anyone. If I have thank you! I wish you all a goodnight. Rest well and do enjoy your weekend ๐

BTW, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is on the rise among people in their 20s & 30s and might soon be officially added to the current triad (hypertension, hyperlipidemia, Type 2 diabetes/insulin resistance) that comprises โMetabolic Syndrome.โ Not everyone with metabolic syndrome has the central obesity characteristic of the disease cluster, just as not everyone with Type 2 is apple-shaped. But itโs closely linked with malfunctioning insulin releaseโthe liver, kidneys and pancreas are intertwined far more closely than previously thought.

OK sooooo great news ladies sooooo happy to say Pet scan showed nothing wrong ๐...which I am so relieved about oh my gosh! However, I need to have a talk with my mo about what is the cause for the enzymes being elevated. My dr. I felt was amazing before but now he is my favorite person in the whole wide world lol He went into the office today and said that he knew I would be worried so he called me himself to tell me everything was fine.... I was so happy that I didn't ask what he thought could be the problem ๐ฏ๐๐ so that certainly needs to be cleared up.
Anyway, I have pre-surgical testing tomorrow and then urologist early Wednesday morning....keeping fingers crossed for this tes. Also gonna ask over that 2017 surgeries what to expect tomorrow but please feel free to share ๐ And to all of you, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and support. My husband tries very hard and has done an amazing job thus far but the sisterhood is just something very very special that I truly cherish....๐โค
