sorry it took me awhile to get back to you, been busy my brother was here from out of State with my niece.

I am doing not too bad. Besides slipping on wet pavement and landing on my tailbone.so I'm sore. I'll be having a minor revision surgery on 19th.

I hope all goes well with your surgery and that you start to feel better soon

ouch that's pain is awful. I broke my tail bone. Over 20 yrs ago. It took months to heal.. get one of those special pillows to help it heal.

Good luck with your surgery as well. 💞

I, too, broke my tailbone - about 28 years ago. My DH found me a special pillow at a medical supply store - square with a "V" cut out for my tailbone area to hang over open space so there was no pressure on it. I took it everywhere with me. Hope you heal quickly, PNWBCgirl!

Hey chickie I wanted to check in real fast. I got great news on Monday. I went for my pre op check and I am finally healing. He wants to wait for surgery. I took a long good look at my history. I heal slow..no question. He is taking that very serious. The post op for this is 10-14days. He said mine would be 6 weeks. That is a really long time to have a super sore butt. Plus sepsis. He is very afraid. So with that he is really being cautious. Since my meds are finally changing things he wants to wait. I knew I was doing better but it would get better,go back to hurting. But NOTHING like before. I literally have never ever felt pain like that in all of my life. I have had 5 kids without pain meds, gastric bypass, hernia repair, hall bladder removal, extensive dental surgery that ended with a separated palate.. literally painful carp. This situation got the golden crown of horror :)

oh I guess I need to check pm . I am doing well. Been in a little funk today. The reality of being done done has given me the wow it is over now time to figure out life again . The last 2.5 years has been Surgery-recovery- get ready for next surgery. Routine . Not complaining I have been cancer free. The revision fixed my dimple I had on one side. So now the PS just wants to wait 6 months to make sure it stays away.

awww I understand. I'm in the same boat but still trying to live a normal life with broken parts..lol it's hard because I have to work. Our house payment is high. Originally when we bought this house my husband had a different job. Due to Federal changes he was dismissed and had to get another job, still federal. But the pay is different and zero overtime.Plus my Mom passed and that was a good part of the payment. I can only do all my care in spurts and very limited. That makes healing hard and very very planned. If I have a glitch, which I do all the darn time,it makes me panic.
